You may or may not be aware of Stefon, the former SNL character who would come on to discuss "New York's hottest clubs." After naming the club, he would always say "this place has everything" before listing things that club had to offer, such as kids wearing Mozart wigs, those shoes that nurses wear, and the outdoor concert from a Zoloft commercial to name a few.
Anyways, for some reason this is what came to mind as we're now only ONE MONTH out from Brineman.
This race has everything!
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE (OLYMPIC)
This race is for you if:
- You simply want to be a part of it! All are welcome!
- You're a gamer who enjoys friendly competition, no matter where you place
- You're a contender in your age group, and want to battle for State Champ honors / podium
- You want to have a blast racing the most prestigious short course race on our calendar
Note: like last year, Utah Tri Buzz will be presenting a wide variety of season awards based on the entire Championship Series, whereas the Brineman Olympic is the single, State Championship event.
Keep in mind that anyone who races the State Champs race gets a season points bonus towards Utah Tri Buzz awards and swag.
SPRINT
This race is for you/friends if:
- For whatever reason you don't feel up for the State Champs race, but still want to participate in the overall event (we'd encourage you to go for it, but that's your call!)
- You know of family members or friends who would consider giving the sprint a go and then cheering you on after they finish
HALF
This race is for you if:

- You'd prefer the challenge of tackling a distance vs. short course "racing" (which is fine!)
- You want to ride on Antelope Island, rather than turn around just before it
- This is a measuring stick race for you before a late season Ironman

We started a Patreon account (link below) with the hope of raising a few bucks towards awards & swag for athletes of all abilities in our tri community. We've given out a lot over the past 2 years, but would like to continue to expand our offerings & the volume we can do.
