Results Breakdown: Daybreak 2022

Congrats to everyone who participated at Daybreak! As we always say, it takes guts to show up to race, and we commend everyone who got after it yesterday.

Next up in the 
Utah Triathlon Championship Series:

1) Mar 19:  Ice Breaker
2) May 7:  Ironman St. George (World Champs)
3) May 21:  Sand Hollow - Olympic
4) May 28:  Daybreak - Olympic
5) Jun 11:  Jordanelle - Olympic
6) Jul 16:  Echo (State Champs!) - Olympic
7) Aug 20: East Canyon - Olympic

Show up at 3 or more of the 12 total Series races to qualify for 2022 season swag & awards!


Note that for many races, there's also a Sprint distance option as a non-Championship Series race.

Below is the results breakdown for Daybreak, and this post from a few years ago explains what this is if you need a refresher. 

Basically, like we do for all Utah Triathlon Championship Series races, we crunch some #'s to show your percentile vs. the field. The lower % the better, and this look helps you track your own performance year over year, race to race. 

For age group rankings and other season awards, we'll calculate a points "bonus" for IM and 70.3 Worlds to adjust for the higher level of competition throughout the field.
