Results Breakdown: Ice Breaker 2023

Congrats to everyone who participated at Ice Breaker! It takes guts to show up to race, especially in tough conditions, and we commend everyone who got after it Saturday in American Fork.

TriUtah's Ice Breaker (race #1 of the Utah Triathlon Championship Series) was a success, despite the weather forcing a cancelled bike and a rare 5k run/ 300m swim format.

Next up in the Series!

1) Mar 25:  Ice Breaker
2) May 6:  St. George 70.3
3) May 20:  Sand Hollow - Olympic
4) May 27:  Daybreak - Olympic
5) Jun 24:  Jordanelle - Olympic
6) Jul 15:  Echo - Olympic & Half (new!)

Note for Sand Hollow, Daybreak, Jordanelle and Echo, there's also a Sprint distance option as a non-Championship Series race.

Below is the results breakdown for Ice Breaker, and this post from a few years ago explains what this is if you need a refresher.

this year the swim went last!
