Based on our records, St. George 70.3 (race #2 of the Utah Triathlon Championship Series) just had its largest field ever at ~2,750 participants. Congrats to everyone who conquered that epic course!
Next up in the Series!
3) May 22: Sand Hollow - Olympic
4) Jun 5: Daybreak - Olympic (State Champs!)
5) Jun 12: East Canyon - Olympic
For Sand Hollow, Daybreak and East Canyon, note there are sprint distance options available as non-Championship Series races.
*****Special Announcement*****
In conjunction with RD's Perry Hacker and Dan Aamodt, we've got some cool things brewing for anyone who completes "The Double" of Daybreak and East Canyon back to back weeks. From now until May 11th, anyone who registers for Daybreak or East Canyon will receive a code on May 12th for 15% off the other race (Olympic for Olympic, sprint for sprint). In addition, Utah Tri Buzz will be making it rain with awards, praise & recognition for your efforts. Support the local scene!
Below is the results breakdown for St. George 70.3, and this post explains what this is if you need a refresher.
Basically, like we do for all Utah Triathlon Championship Series races, we crunch some #'s to show your percentile vs. the field for each discipline. The lower % the better, and this look helps you track your own performance year over year, race to race. Here is the same analysis for 2017-19 if you want to look at St. George across multiple years:
(Note, transitions are T1+T2 because the source data only had Swim, Bike, Run, Overall, so we had to back into the combined transition times)
